The centre was started in 1983 in Tirunelveli and subsequently shifted to more spacious accommodation at Palayamkottai in1998.

The centre has been serving the people of Tirunelveli and surrounding South Tamilnadu for more than 27 years, bringing plastic surgical care to Tirunelveli at an affordable cost.
